I am super excited to introduce our next performer.  Please meet the Legendary Barbra Love-Sanchez.  When I moved to Lincoln last May, I went to see some local drag show to see what kind of talent/queens were hitting the boards.  Barbara was one of my favorites of the night.  She is the quintennial queen of the old guard who knows how to lip sync a classic number with a touch of comedy and crass.  She is an incredible host with a sharp & dirty tongue!  I am super excited to get to finally share the stage with her.

Meet The Performers: Destiny

Hello Cherubs!  

It's the week of the show, which means it's time to introduce our cast members!  Our first cast member is DESTINY.    Being a "newer" queen in town, it's always great when you mean veterans who are at the top of their game but also have the biggest heart! I am in awe every time I see her perform and she always keeps me on my toes and makes me want to work harder!  I am beyond thrilled she found the time to be part of CHEERS!

The Sequin Soup Kitchen & Talk Show Coming to Sioux City, IA Pride

That's right Cherubs!  We are coming to Sioux City Pride!!!

How exciting is this going to be?  We are going to be transforming our Sequin Soup Kitchen into a smaller format with and have partnered with the Sioux City Pride board to add an interactive talk show component

Holy cow...I am soooo excited!  This is an amazing honor and I couldn't be more proud that my hardwork the past few years has paid off!  I am REALLY looking forward to representing Nebraska.

Lafayette is an AMAZING performer!  I am SUPER excited to finally get her into a show!  Lafayette is a true STAR of Lincoln, NE and has been performing around the area for decades!  It's quite exciting to have such a legend in our show!  I have had the pleasure of seeing him on stage and I know he is going to show the children what a TRUE performer looks like!

I first met Diane Isis during my VERY first MYL Presents: Queen Seeking.  Diane has the pleasure to becoming our first Audience Choice winner.  I was thrilled for her win as it was also her first time on stage!  Diane will bring a lot of creativity to the stage and generally creates all of her own costumes!   I have a feeling we will seeing a lot more of her!

Cherubs...let's meet our last performer DEVIN SHAKERS!  Devin is a special guest from Sioux City, IA and is no stranger to our stage and ALWAYS brings something new and unique!  I am SUPER excited to see a few new numbers for our show and I know one of them is his childhood dream come true! 

In his own words..

“Devin Shakers is back for his fourth time performing at The Panic, and third time as part of Mrs. Yuka Layme’s productions. Devin is the current reigning Mister Jones Street Station in Sioux City, Iowa and also serves as the co-show director. Devin is a regular performer at Jones Street Station and Club David in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It’s an honor to be back with Mrs. Yuka Layme and performing once again at The Panic. It has become my home away from home. Thank you to the staff of The Panic, the audience and Mrs. Yuka Layme for inviting me back. December marks my one year anniversary of performing, I’ve learned a lot, and the most important thing I’ve learned is that you don’t necessarily have to always be the best, but always give heart, effort, and most of all have fun.”

Cherubs...let's meet our next performer KENDRA STAHR!  Kendra is one of our special guests from Sioux City, IA.  You first saw Kendra on our stage during our first Queen Seeking.  I was so amazing that she drove 2 hours to perform on our stage for a drop in performance night!  Now, she's booked and ready to dance!  Kendra bring a lot of energy to the stage.  Kendra is the current Miss Jones Street 2016 and will be graciously stepping down the day after our show when a new queen is crowned!

Cherubs...our next performer is the one...the ONLY...THE BEAUTIFUL  Amanda Lynn.  The ladies at the Panic go CRAZY for this lady!   Mrs Yuka Layme presents could not happen without her support and I am super happy she continues to want to perform along side of me.  Amanda always bring thoughtful humor to her performances and has some great numbers prepared.

Bandit is a Lincoln Native who is now living in Chicago, IL.  She is our amazing pianist for the evening and is the reason I & Muffy Fishbaset sound so good!  Bandit will be brining the sas as she's one of the only people that can stand up to Muffy (or at least she thinks she can).

Cherubs...meet our next performer MUFFY FISHBASKET.  That's right..my gal pal from Chicago is back in Lincoln.   She's a crowd favorite and she will not disappoint.  She will sadly not be bring any of her trapeze/silk work for this show, but promises she will add her high flying antics in a future show.  She's my favorite "Decorated Catastrophe" .

Cherubs...I'm going to need your support. I guarantee this broad is going to try to steal the show.

I am super excited to have Eden Butz as part of our cast.  Eden is an amazing performer with a very unique style.  She created and craft in NYC and relocated to Lincoln a couple of years ago!  Eden is also very generous with her time as she is part of the Star City Pride Board as well as produces a monthly fundraising show for Star City Pride at the The Alley.

Cherubs...I am super excited to have POP TART as part of our cast once again!  He brings a lot of great energy to the stage and adds a lot of positivity back stage as well.  Pop Tart (or Pez Dispenser as Amanda Lynn calls him) has really made me feel like home in Nebraska and has introduce me to a lot of the performers you have seen in my shows!  He has some great numbers prepared that are SURE to make you laugh!

MYL Presents RED, WHITE, & BOOZE is only a few days away!  I am super excited to be back on the Panic Stage and look forward to providing an amazing distraction from the hot mess of an Inauguration. 

Not only do we have amazing local and out of town performers lined up for you, but Fancy Bandit Brown is back in town with her piano!  You've grown to love our mix of live and lip sync performances, but it's time to go back to our roots with LIVE PIANO! 

This month's show is a sardonic romp through politics. We will begin the show over the top patriotism and gently transition into the glory of freedom of speech.  It's a good thing Trump will be busy that tonight, or I'd expect we'd cause quite the tweet storm! 

I look forward to seeing everyone!  Please invite your friends...the more people we get the more likely the Panic will continue to welcome us back.  Come support your local community!

Back off Jack (Frost)... I'm reclaiming my Holiday Spirit

Cherubs!!!

Nothing pokes a hole in your Christmas Spirit more than canceling your holiday spectacular.  We worked really hard to put a solid and exciting show together, but Jack Frost was not cooperating.  The decision was not made lightly and was made in partnership with our venue, The Panic Bar. The safety of our performers (especially our out of town guests) and our audience was our top priority and will always be most important.  But man oh man...it sucked not being able to show you everything we had planned.  Sadly, due to the timing of calendars, we are unable to reschedule to another night, but that's ok.  Life happens and we are all alive, happy, and healthy!

BUT...I've decided to not let that frosty asshole to get me down!  I will be crashing Karaoke night at the Panic Bar THIS THURSDAY (12/22/26) at 9:00pm.  I'll sing 3 of the live songs I had prepared for you from Homo for the Holiday and hope that it helps us all get back into the Christmas spirit.  It's a FREE night, so come on down and sing some songs with me!  I'll be all dolled up and in one of my new dresses.

Meet Mimi Bon'Qui'Qui

Mimi Bon'Qui'Qui is pocket sized fireball! Mimi is another special guest from Jones Street Station in Sioux City, IA.  I had the pleasure of working with her on her home turn last weekend, and man oh man she brings a lot of sex sex sex to the stage!  I am super excited to have her heat up the holiday season in our show.  PS:  Her boy toy is HOT HOT HOT!  I hear we might be able to seduce his clothes off with a request and a beverage.  Mamma has it on her Christmas list!
